Magnolia 木蘭 shortlisted for the Ockhams!

We're so excited that Nina Mingya Powles's Magnolia 木蘭 has been shortlisted for the Mary and Peter Biggs Award for Poetry at the Ockham New Zealand Book Awards. Congratulations Nina!

She's in fine company, as you can see. You can read more about the finalists on the awards site. The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on on 12 May, during the 2021 Auckland Writers Festival. (Hopefully it won't have to go online again this year!)
